The Centre for British Studies is hosting a roundtable discussion and a book launch with Professor Stuart Ward (Saxo Institute, University of Copenhagen).

Professor Ward’s "Untied Kingdom: a Global History of the End of Britain" is published by Cambridge University Press in February 2023. It tells the panoramic history of the end of Britain, tracing the ways in which Britishness has been imagined, experienced, disputed and ultimately discarded across the globe since the end of the Second World War.

Our roundtable discussants are: Almuth Ebke (Universität Mannheim), Caroline Kögler (WWU Münster), Harshan Kumarasingham (University of Edinburgh) and Stuart Ward, moderated by Miles Taylor (GBZ).
